The Name

The Uprising is the most powerful name in the red collection and arguably in the entire collection. An uprising is not chaos. It is not destruction. It is the organized, passionate, collective decision that things cannot remain the way they are — that justice delayed too long becomes a fire that can no longer be contained. The history of Saint Kitts is inseparable from the history of uprising. From the resistance of enslaved Africans who refused to accept their condition, to the labor movements of the early 20th century, to the political organizing that culminated in independence in 1983 — this island's freedom was not handed over. It was risen toward, generation by generation, until the moment it could no longer be denied.

The Color

This is the loudest jersey in the entire collection. Red at maximum saturation. Long sleeves wrapping the arms in the full history of struggle and celebration.
